Sampler Track not getting updated?

I see in the audio pool that my samples are still 44.1 , but I work in 48. Does the sampler track change the sample rate internally? I don’t think so!
and why can’t I choose to save the sampler track sample to my project folder? Especially on a backup project to a new folder, this should be a minimum.

I think these problems have been around since the sampler track did appear in Cubase. What a shame

I drag the audio on to a track I call media - which i then create a sampler track with. At least then it’s referencing that audio in the audio folder.

When you import a sample to the project it should convert to 48Khz for you.
