I have some of my projects done at 44100 bits and as I have changed my sound card to a new soundcraft, now I am unable to open these projects as they open in 48000 bits. I am unable to set the bit rate on my new sound card and I want to know how I could change the project recorded in 44100 to 48000 bits without losing the pitch of the song. Please help. Thanks.
I have changed the topic title to sample rate, as that is what your are inquiring about.
Apologies if this goes over the ground @Grim has suggested, but one option is to start an empty project, ensure it is set to 48k and then use ‘Import tracks from project’ and bring each track in from the original project, while ensuring the ‘change samplerate’ checkbox is ticked.
(This is from memory as I’m not in the studio at the moment).
