Save a Layout as a New Template

I want to save the current layout as a new template. When I go to Save As…, I don’t get the option to save as a new template.

Which version of Dorico? Save as project template is only on available on Pro.

You could always fake a template. Make a copy of your current project, delete all the music, and clear out Project Info. When you want to start a new piece, open this project and do Save As right away to give it a different filename.

If you make your fake template readonly, this can’t be forgotten.
