I am a Pro Tools user looking to get into Cubase so I can have another angle at working on stuff.
In Pro Tools, you have the option of saving a preset in the general preset folder (in the default location on the OS system drive just like it does in Cubase), but you also have the option to save a preset in the current session only, so that the preset only shows up as a choice when you are working in that session. In this case, the preset is saved to a folder inside the session folder.
I don’t really like the idea of having session specific presets stored in the default location of the system hard drive. That data should be stored in the folder of the session, whatever drive that session may be on.
If anyone has any suggestions on how accomplish this it would be much appreciated!
