I have just started using Cubase Pro and the save times are insane. I have a project with 8 tracks and it takes 15 seconds for the project to save. Its totally messing with my workflow and is a real problem. The project is on an SSD and I have tested transfer speeds (almost 400MB/sec) Is this normal??? I am on PC. Cubase Pro10.5.20
Are you using Kontakt or Komplete Kontrol?
Cubase doesn’t like saving projects with Kontakt in it.
That’s all I use. That might be a deal breaker! Is there nothing you can do?

I use both Kontakt and sometimes Komplete Kontrol on Catalina and don’t have long save times.
I get longer save times if my project is on an external ssd. Because a second ssd is holing all the instruments so maybe the bus is full
