Save (to) new version not working?

Please see this thread from yesterday:

Save New Version 5.1.8 Goes back to 01

Since the latest update, when I press my short cut Save New Version it want always to save it as name-01. It does not go to 02,03,04 and so on. Am I the only one with that behavior?
