Every time I attempt to open a saved project, the loading process stops when reaching 50%. The only way to proceed from there is to force quit Dorico.

This could be due to a dialog from a third-party plugin that’s appeared in the background as part of the playback initialisation.
Could you check to see if there are any dialogs hiding behind Dorico?
Thanks for the suggestion, Ben. But there are no other dialogs behind Dorico when I attempt to open a file.
