Saving Metronom routing permanently

When opening an old project, I was asked the usual questions about what to do with missing connections. I selected something and clicked "always and was initially satisfied.

Unfortunately, a current project, where the metronome is routed to a VST instrument, now opens unrouted. Where can I fix the correct setting so that it always opens this way, at least for this project?

Yes, but isn’t durable.
Next time i open a projekt, after closing cubase, it is disconnected.

I leave the project this way:

It still works without closing Cubase, just closing and reopening the project.

Opening a different project without closing Cubase looks like this:

So he’s asking me what he should do.

So how do I need to behave so that the projects are routed accordingly using this track, and if the track doesn’t exist, an audio click is used?

After closing Cubase, I currently have no metronome at all. All normal projects have no audio click because I deselected it, but the projects with the MIDI click also have no click, even though the track for MIDI routing is present in that case.

I still have to assign it where you showed me.

It looks like this:
