I am using Cubase 8.5 and Windows 7.
I have been using a Midisport 8 x 8 and Midisport 4 x 4 as my midi controllers with no issues. The Midisport 8 x 8 has stopped working and I have replaced it with two Midisport 4 x 4’s . I have recorded the name of the devices connected to each midi channel in the Device Manager and this works well until I shut down Cubase. When I restart Cubase it only recognises the names in the first Midisport and these are duplicated to the other two devices. I then need to reinput the names again.
How do I get Device Manager to retain the names of each Midi Channel within the three Midisport Controllers?
What version of Cubase are you using?
Are you using Pro, or Artist, or Elements?
