Saving Project files As A New Version // Reverting to the Last Saved Version

I’m new to Cubase 12 Pro, and am just working through the PDF instruction manual.

On page 119, are the topics: ‘Saving Project files As A New Version’, and also ‘Reverting to the Last Saved Version’.

When I try to ‘Revert’, all that occurs is the same file opens up again ‘unchanged’, not a previous version. Is this correct?

Does the Revert function open the previous version, or does it simply revert to the last saved version, in which case, is it a bit like the Undo option?

Yes it does this. And yeah it’s for when you’ve messed things up enough that just going back to the last time you saved the Project is the best move.
