Saving separate multiple part PDFs erases file path

When I go to save parts at PDF, if I have just one part selected, it retains the standard path to the folder for my project.
As soon as I select multiple parts to save as PDF, it erases the path field. Returning to a single part re populates the file path.
Is there a reason why when I want to save multiple parts via PDF that it should force me to specify a new path to save them??
It would seem default should always be my project folder, and I can OPTIONALLY change the path is desired.

I believe this problem has existed in previous versions - not sure how far back. I’m on 3.5 now however.

Each selected layout maintains its own path for export. I suggest you select all of the parts in the left-hand layouts list in Print mode and then set the destination folder for all of them at once.
