After nearly a decade of serious work with Finale, I’ve been using Dorico since the end of August. Since it operates on a completely different philosophy, I gradually got to grips with the program, instinctively always looking for solutions that replicated Finale’s methods. Recently, I had to compile a collection of piano pieces, and for the first time, I feel like I was truly able to think in Dorico’s terms—and I have to say, it’s brilliant! The flows, the flow headings, all those settings that make up the essence of Dorico are simply genial! Many thanks to the developers and to all of you for your help!
