Scale Assistant not enabled ?

Hi everyone !

I’ve upgraded yesterday to Cubase Pro 11 and wanted to explore new features like the Scale Assistant, but it seems that it’s not available ?
Whenever I go to the MIDI editor and to the Scale Assistant tab, the “Chord Track” button is grey and unclickable…

Anyone has the same problem ? Am I missing something I should activate ?

Hi and welcome,

There are 2 modes in the Scale Assistant:

  • Use Editor Scale
  • Use Chord Track

To be able to choose “Chord Track”, you must first have a Chord Track created in your project…
