Hi,i have just installed Cubase 7.06 on pc 64 bits.
on startup it is scanning,but freezes once it getsto the vst2 plugins.
I have to force a stop using task manager,then restart,it then scans up to the next vst2 plug,and freezes again.
force shutdown,restart and it goes to the next vst2 plugin and freezes.
At this rate it will take forever to get Cubase 7 to start.
any suggestions?
Hi funkman,
rename your Plugins folder or move its content to a different folder. Then start copying your plugins one by one or five by fivew until you find the ones that cause Cubase to crash.

I tried today,and it didn’t seem to stick,only on a few,finally started.
