Hi,
I am using Cubase 4 on an I-Mac, the same I-Mac I originally downloaded it onto 8 years ago. Operating system has been updated - like, 6-7 months ago - to Yosemite.
Tonight, when I tried to open Cuebase, I got this message, headlined with “Syncrosoft License Control Error”:
**Application ‘Cubase 4’ has caused the following error:
No eLicenser connected.
Options:
- For troubleshooting information click .
- Connect a valid eLicenser and click .
- Click to abort.**
I don’t know what they’re talking about. I still have my license key inserted, and it’s lit. I haven’t made any changes to Cubase this week, and I was recording as recently as Tuesday night (it’s Friday) with no problems. As far as I know I HAVE valid eLicenser connected (isn’t that what the key is for)?
I’m very bad with technical stuff, in fact a friend of mine who is not available helps me when anything goes wrong with my computer, Cuebase, etc. If any one has a solution to this, please let me know.
Thank you,
Tom
