I have a Kontakt BASS sample loaded . . . when I go to score editor, it’s Bass Clef, but it displays 2 octaves higher than it should be, way above the staff. The Bass notes sound like they are playing in the correct octave, but they display wrong. I can’t find anything to fix this, and even wonder if it is a Kontakt setting, or Cubase setting. The Cubase manual states you can change the octave display without affecting the actual octave the notes play, but that doesn’t seem to work, it transposes incorrectly. Anybody else run into this ?
