In Computer Keyboard Input mode, there seems to be a “global grid” instead of a grid per bar, unlike the other input modes.
As a consequence in this mode it is not always possible to place some notes on the first beat of bars depending on the Quantize settings, as if overlaps were not allowed.
Much clearer with some examples…
