how can I get dynamic symbols and such to show below the staff in stead of above it? esp. crescendo graphic symbols.
thank you

thanks for the video, but he seems to bypass my problem., his symbols are always below the staff, but how did he do it?
now I just discovered that for the top track in the score, cubase writes the crescendo’s above the staff, and for all the other tracks it writes them below (as it should be really).
weird, I see no settings for this.
Michel
The default should be for the dynamics to always go below the staff for all instruments except voice/vocals, where they should go above. So the dynamics should only be going above that track if the instrument is set to some type of singer/singing voice.
With vocal music, like for soprano/alto/tenor/bass, the dynamics are always supposed to go above the staff instead of below, because the text they sing is below the staff.
thank you, that was the trick. Cubase defaults my soprano saxophone to a soprano voice, and that’s why it was different from the other instruments. Soprano sax happens to be my top staff, so it seemed it being the top staff was the reason…
Now it looks good!
