Score editor - hide chord symbols?

I’m scoring a drum part, and for some reason, even though I unselected “Show Chord Symbols” in the instrument settings, the Score editor is still showing Chord symbols - what am I doing wrong? (also to debated whether chord symbols shouldn’t be deactivated by default for drum scores)

Man, I’m getting old… Thanks :slight_smile: Still, not logical at all why it still shows the symbols if you de-select it, and why it’s linked to where the symbols are :smiley:

@PaulWalmsley to above - would be great if you add a clearer hiding of Chord symbols to the backlog. Thanks!

The same here, I’ve deselected the Show Chord Symbols, but didn’t work.

I found a way to hide them:

In the Score Editor page Score>Layout Settings>Chord Symbols>Position

choose “Above Specific Instruments’ Staves”

chord symbols will be disappered.

Correct - not very intuitive in my opinion..
