Hello! I’m getting a track ready for further score fixing in Sibelius by using the score editor. But the drum tracks aren’t right at all in Sibelius, and I have no idea what I’m doing. I’ve edited the score parts (snares, toms, tambourine, cymbals, timpani etc.) using the drum map in score editor, mostly using single staff. But there are no presets for these instruments as with violins and such. How am I supposed to make the xml result work with Sibelius?
Please make sure you use the Quick Start Dialog in Sibelius (import tab). I don’t know why, but importing the xml as a part (to add more notes to currently open score) doesn’t work. It says:
Sibelius
The contents of this file do not conform to a recognized format. Please choose a different file.
Interestingly enough, if I import the Cubase XML to Finale, then export it (to xml) for Sibelius, it works. Must be something going on with Cubase XML export functionality (or with Sibelius XML import functionality)…
