Score -Error Message for Multi Bar Repeat Functuion

Problem:- A two, or more, bar musical phrase is repeated multiple times, maybe more than 4 times
On a score this is shown as the musical phase between repeat marks with an indication 1,2,3 in text above the phrase.

Score Work Flow:- Add repeat marks to the start and end of the first phrase, then hide subsequent phrases, finally reformat number of bars on the staff.

TestProcedure:-

SETUP TEST SAMPLE -(Not real musical sample)

  1. Creat New Project
  2. Create Midi Track (MID 01)
  3. Select Draw Tool [Keyboard 8 and draw 1 bars]
  4. Double Click part to start the Key editor
  5. Add 4 notes (maybe C4 Middle C) in reality it would be a musical phrase
  6. Close Key Editor
  7. Duplicate part 20 times (Ctrl D)

Now Start Score Editor - Ctrl R
a) Set number of bars to 4 , Set focus to bar 1 and select All Staves
The Score should now be 5 lines of 4 bars on each line.
ADD REPEAT MARKS
b) Right click the last bar line of bar 4 and select the left repeat sign. [Now displayed at the begining of bar 5].
c) Repeat for bar 5 and select the right repeat sign.

Bar 5 is now a repeat bar. I want to indicate to the musician that this is a multi repeat bar.

d) Set focus to bar 5 [2nd Staff) and the set Number of Bars to 1; Press this Staff
e) Now highlight all of 3rd and 4th staffs. [Cleff, Bar Lines and all notes now selected - RED]
f) Right click on any red note, select Hide

Now only 4 Staff lines are displayed

g)Staff 2 is still 1 bar wide and we really need 4 bars so, set focus to Staff 2, Set number of bars to 4, and press All Staves

ERROR MESSAGE BOX APPEARS

contact Techincal Support…Cubase.LOG

Actually nothing is written to the LOG file.

From here work flow is unstable/illogical
