Score name does not reflect name change in players or setup

Problem. I have changed the name of a player in both setup and players fields. The name change IS reflected in the separate part but NOT on the score. Why? Also, the individual part has an odd remnant of the original abbreviated name of the part, and I cannot figure out to delete that. Can anyone help?

There are 3 possible names that you’re looking at – the part name doesn’t necessarily match the player name, and staff labels might use the instrument names rather than player names.

Richard, yes: in Setup Mode you will find everything to adapt the names.

  1. in the left Panel you’ll find the player’s name(s).
  2. If you click the triangles, you can edit the names, how they appear in the score (labels).
  3. if you look at the right panel, that’s where you can change the layout names (what appears at the top of your parts).
