Great to see the score editor move forward in 14.0.20.
I’m still seeing various issues though around updating the score when editing midi.
e.g. some sliced midi, select for removal:
Hit delete:
Yet I still see the notes in the score:
Workaround - clicking on the layout (Full) refreshes it:
Now it’s gone:
It’s just a bit confusing as you can’t trust the score. You can also select the phantom notes so sometimes I see a note and start editing it only to find that it won’t move because there is no underlying midi.
Related, say I copy a midi part from my Soprano track to the Bass track. It does not update in the score but I notice that the icon updates to the square to show that it can be updated:
That is helpful, but could that and the editing above not just update automatically? I can’t think of any case where I would want to hold back edits in midi from the score view.
For now I could live with a manual refresh that I do all the time. Is there any way I can force an update via a keystroke?
Many thanks!
