I had developed a little familiarity with the new scoring in C15. There was still a clear manual to read, on just score. Then there was another update, and those separate useful manuals are gone. Now, as I can’t remember how to do anything, like change the numbers of measures for staves, get rid of unwanted displayed rests, etc, I go to the help and there is just one massive help for all C15. In the panel on the left things come up, and then on the right, it just doesn’t seem to explain anything. If I go there and type score settings, nothing is found. Are there moles in the development team, that are just making everything worse with each update? Each one sets me back further, trying to reaccomplish what I had done already, but now ruined, even the help manual. Making simple things harder appears to be the theme.
Does someone know where help on score settings is in the latest C15?
Every day, I spend hours trying to make desired changes to the score. I took a track yesterday and changed so that it was vibraphone. Apparently didn’t save it and doing it again today, now it won’t save. What is wrong. Also I added the title, composer, etc. and it doesn’t appear on the score.
Remembered, I had to choose octave #. Still no title showing though. And then , though I choose to show no short name, still does on every stave. Though I change the page margins to 5mm, it doesn’t change and though I choose 4 fixed measures per stave, it remains at 2 or 3.
