I agree. I use step entry and sometimes Computer Keyboard entry, and mostly I copy and paste, and use MIDI input to edit pitches. This is much faster.
It’s all very individual.

Honestly it’s more like feature that’s not consistent between score and midi editor. I’ve used different score editors so far where the note input is immediate (Sibelius, Samplitude Pro X, …), so I really don’t understand why they intentend to add a delay here ?
