I don’t have a keyboard . I want to create a project and I have to use the score editor ,
I can’t find a way to open the score editor if there’s not already notes .
The score editor only works if you’ve already added notes manually ( this is wrong I hope )
Question : how do I open the score editor for an instrument track to write the very first note ?
There don’t need to be any notes, per se; and you can draw in a midi part in the project view by using the pencil tool, and then open the Score Editor.

The editors are not track-based, they are MIDI Part-based. Once you get this concept, you will understand the big part of Cubase.
As mentioned draw an empty MIDI Part in the Project window. Now you can open the Score editor of this (empty) MIDI Part.
