Scoring documentation. Templates for different page setup settings

The manual says:

If you want new projects to always start with certain page setup settings, you can create project templates.

(Cubase_Pro_Score_12_Score_Layout_and_Printing_en.pdf — WebHelp Version)

This doesn’t apply to mac computers. Tried it on Catalina OS (10.15.7) . It didn’t work.
Does it work on Big Sur or Monterey?

Page Setup settings have never been embedded in project templates as far as I know.

Are you saying that Cubase on Windows behaves the same? That would be interesting.
