Scripting / ECMAScript tutorial

Hi all

First off I need to say that I am a total scripting / coding noob. I’ve looked through the WL manual and am starting to poke into ECMAScript. And I’ve tried Keyboard Maestro though perhaps I should devote more time to that instead of WL’s scripting due to its relative ease of use. Anyways-

The busier I get the more I realize I need to better automate processes to keep up, hang with my kids, avoid carpal tunnel, etc. Obviously it’d be unfair and unrealistic to expect anyone here to walk me through a profession’s worth of knowledge on a public forum for free, which even if possible would take an eternity.

Rather I’m asking if anyone out there has been in a similar spot, deciding that they’re interested in learning the scripting capabilities of Wavelab and have found resources online that have worked for them and that they wouldn’t mind sharing.

Also (and this would probably be the most useful) is anyone aware of perhaps a resource that has some basic scripts that I could copy and modify (and learn from)? This would be the most useful, and is the only reason I’ve been able to maintain and customize even a basic website.

Thank you!
Nick

ECNAS is literally the same as javascript but it is missing APIs like for I/O and file management. So every basic javascript tutorial would do. The implementation in WL is very restricted compared to f. e. Sound Forge’s scripting capabilities, But this is the omly part I miss from SF when I chahged to WL (for reasons…)
But for both: Development and documentation a treated like Cinderella,
