This apple-like philosophy of controlling the implementation for every single feature (so that it’s made “the right way”) make for a very sleek and powerful program, but the lack of professional power-user control over it make it so I’m losing faith of ever switching over completely. I still use Dorico for my commercial tight-deadline projects, with simpler music and it probably gives me the most joy over all the other software, but I don’t think I’ll ever abandon the other alternatives as far as flexibility and true niche poweruser uses go.
