Scripts and Key Commands don't work on Submenu items in Options Menus

There are many items I use a lot in various Library> Options menus, but have trouble locating again, finding myself having to look things up repeatedly. Script recording opens the top level of the menu OK, but doesn’t record section or submenu information, at least not as far as I can tell. Nor are these options reachable via Key Commands.
I’m talking about things like Hide Empty Staves, or Hide Rests in Empty Bars, Turning off “Automatically Resolve Collisions,” Show/Hide Staff names, and many others.
I would like to make a feature request, that the functionality of Scripting and Key Commands can be extended to burrow down into these submenus, to section headings and all the section items, to make them more accessible to key commands, the Jump Bar, or Scripting, or KeyBoard Maestro.
I end up spending a lot of time looking things up that I’ve found previously. There are just so many things to find… This would be a quantum improvement in usability.

Just a suggestion (because I have had to learn some Musescore):
I have a pencil and paper to make notes. And do screenshots, name them how you would remember its purpose.
You can make your own Key commands if you need to integrate them in to a script or KM etc.

(I know you are asking for other additions, but until then…)

That’s the problem. For the Options menus, anything below the top level is inaccessible by either method - Key Commands, Jump Bar, or Lua Script. The handles aren’t provided.
I’m managing to get by, I have notes and a list of personal breadcrumbs, but if this was accessible in a manner consistent with menu items, it would make it easier to build a custom interface with KM macro groups, Jump Bar aliases, and Key Commands. Not possible now.

I have set up click locations in KM, that seemed to work in a script, some key commands, some mouse clicks with recording.
Have you tried it? or does it not work?

Example

I’m familiar with “click at found image,” but, getting KM to scroll to the correct section to make the image match is another problem for which I don’t have a solution. This is a Dorico forum, and I’m making a reasonable request for the devs to consider.

Thank you Jon, yes I understand now
