Scrollbar interfering with inspector sections toggles

Hello,
I am using Win11 and Cubase 13 I noticed a very annoying design behavior, the scrollbar overlaps the buttons to enable the inspector sections.
This requires precise clicks in order to turn on/ off the various sections.

Would it be possible to log this one as possible UI improvement?

Thank you!

Bumping this for 13.0.40 maybe?

@Matthias_Quellmann I wanted to suggest this in the main update thread because that’s an irritating design flaw but i see it was closed… that’s always annoying when ppl don’t know how to behave as civilized person and the others are penalized…
Anyway great update, thanks for listening about the stuff that was fixed so far :+1:

Hi,

Use the mouse scroll-wheel instead. It’s much faster, you don’t have to search for the scroll-bar.

OP is trying to click the button underneath the scrollbar but the scrollbar is in the way.

Hi,

Then don’t go too much to the right of the panel, please.

Nevertheless it is an appalling design flaw…

Is that how we deal with bugs now?

Found this to be an issue as well. You can’t avoid the scroll bar issue if you are coming from right to left across with the mouse and targeting just the rightmost buttons of the sections.

Hi @Martin.Jirsak ,

Thanks for the help on this one. I am not trying to scroll (i use the mouse wheel all the time) the issue is that the scrollbar pops in front of the button and prevents me to click it as you can see in the animated gif
It interferes with the normal button real estate leaving few pixel to aim for the button.

Hi,

It’s the Mac-style scroll bar. It’s hidden (so it doesn’t take a space, if not needed) until you reach it. But it doesn’t work as expected here, I agree.

Bumping this up to see if any good samaritan can vote it up.

It’s very annoying to micromanage your mouse movements to toggle an option in the Inspector.

The scrollbar keeps getting in front in Windows 11 and what’s more ironic is that the tooltip still show as if you are hovering your mouse directly on the button, but you can’t click it.

Can we have more margin for the scrollbar?
Can we move the buttons to the left?

Pretty please?

 you’re a star Martin!

Agreed. Drives me nuts.

You can vote for this issue to push it up.
