scrub and audition do not work

hello, both on the project page and on the sample editor, scrubbing or auditioning do not work
either if i use the “play” tool on the project page, or the “scrub” tool on the sample editor, or the “audition” button in the sample editor as well.

the play tool works for midi though, but not for audio.
i tried opening the same project on 5.5 and it works perfectly

i’m on osx 10.7.5

can you confirm it?
