SDA - Still installs the elicenser?

Ran SDA just there now, and yes, it has started to reinstall the eLCC again. Oh well.

Sidebar: I notice there are no less than 8 developers listed in the “About” dialog of the eLCC, so hopefully they will soon be freed up to work on the upcoming Cubase for Linux :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Just… think deeply about what you wrote.

the funny part is that when it “REINSTALLS” the elicenser nightmare all over again, then i get this message. The never ending diabolical loop..

Hi,

I have just received information that this is a bug. The latest SDA is supposed not to install eLicenser anymore.

Thank you. Of all the things in the world going on, this is clearly the most important!!! :stuck_out_tongue:

really, i just opened it and there goes the elicenser installation at full speed ahead.

I’m guessing that’s what he meant by “this is a bug.”

ok, thanks!

The 14.0.30 series has just been released, and this time, the SDA did not reinstall the eLCC (on Windows 10).

yes confirmed on M4 mac here too

excuse my ignorance but ive checked and SDA download is the same as before. Isnt 14.0.30 latest update for cubase 14? Im running version 13. At this moment i just uninstalled SDA until its been fixed.

The Cubase 14.0.30 install updates the SDA to the non elicenser installing version.
If there is no new update for just SDA maybe they didn’t get around to that yet.

This is what I got with the 14.0.30 update (About box in SDA). Notice there is no eLCC installed.

thats the last version 1.38.1 which was giving me issues. Maybe on mac its different.

Hello. How to remove Elicenser on Mac? I want to remove it deeply. Thanks
