Search for text items like specific chords in a Score?

Haven’t been able to find a thread about this, but I would find it really useful to be able to search a long score for a particular chord voicing, or other system text indicators, like, “ad lib”, “bkg”, “play out!”, etc.

I guess just a general search function, a la the Mac’s “spotlight search”.

Any hints/workarounds would be well received.

I think your only option at this point is to export to PDF, then search the PDF…

Thanks Dan. At this point, that’s a doable workaround.

Search in text is a simple feature that would be extremely helpful!

For instance, I have been looking for a way to index musical ideas. If that little feature becomes available, one could then simply create a single flow where all the music snippets are laid out along with metadata for search (emotional qualities, character, details on when to use etc.)
