Search function in preferences

Cubase has HUGE amount preferences so navigation is quite painful specially when you do new clean installation.
Something like this:

It’s not the same but you could

  • use the search function within the manual (difficult) or
  • search online starting with “Steinberg forum” and your actual keywords (the forum search function is outperformed by any search engine) or
  • ask for help here if the first two methods didn’t supply the answers needed.

thats ok for finding out how to do something but here the request is just to make it quick to locate the preference entry instead of tiresome scrolling and keeping an eye out for the parameter/section in question. Other DAWS do it right. Why not the DAW tha was arguably the first DAW ever?
