Can anyone help with this problem please? It is an excerpt from the Prelude to Tristan and Isolde. In the second bar of the excerpt shown, the secondary beams are shown correctly so the triplets are easy to read. But the initial eighth note should be separate from the 32nd note triplets. In the fourth bar, when split beam is used to separate the eighth note from the 32nd triplets, the secondary beaming disappears. How can I separate the eighth note and keep the secondary beaming. Thanks in advance.
I’m not sure if there is a (global) Notation Option fot this, but at least you can select the first note of each triplet:
And activate Split secondary beam > 8th in the properties panel.
