See level meters

I record concerts through an A&H SQ5 16 track mixer. I have been recording into Nuendo Live3 on a laptop. The A&H allows me to record all tracks onto a USB drive, so that means I no longer need to cart the laptop. BUT I need good metering.

Nuendo shows levels for all tracks. I am considering running Cubase Elements on a small Apple tablet, with the intent of nothing more than seeing levels for each track.

Does Cubase Elements display levels for each track.

Yes it does.
If the level metering on the SQ5 isn’t good enough, what about the free SQ MixPad?

This is a 48 track mixer, btw.

Cubase doesn’t run on iPads.

What about the metering screen?
It has its own screen for metering, and you can connect the MixPad App just for remote metering. On iPads!!!

I know about the level meters shown on the A&H screen, but

  1. I only want to see 16 , and
  2. They are too small for my liking.

Any other ideas.
