Seeing only selected Velocity

HI There. In Cubase Pro 13 on a PC. I want to be able to adjust the velocity of only the selected notes in Editor mode. Using the pencil tool to adjust velocity is tough when all the other velocities are on that note as well. Can I make it so that only the selected notes velocity is visible?

Hi,

No, this is not possible. Use the Info Line to edit only selected MIDI Notes Velocities.

thanks what does that mean? Can you be clearer?

Hi,

You can find more about the Key Editor’s Info Line here.

You can’t make notes invisible. What you could do is programm a few Midi Logic Editors that adjusts the velocity of only the selected note by +1,+10,-1,-10 and keybind them. That way you can adjust the velocity of only the selected note without using the pencil tool.

Hi,

The Logical Editor preset would look something like this:

Filter Target
( Type is | Equal | Note | And
Property | Property is Set | is Selected)

Action Target
Velocity | Add | 10
