I would like to place a SVG inside a graphics frame, but don’t have the frame tool in the left hand panel. Only have three tools: Graphic editing, Vertical spacing, Note spacing.
What am I missing? I’m using Elements 6 Version 6.1.10.607.
There’s your answer. Using frames is a Pro feature (sorry).

Thanks for the quick response, Janus. I had watched this older video on YT “How to Use Frames | Engrave Mode in Dorico” which describes working with graphics frames, but the version of Dorico wasn’t mentioned. Maybe before the Pro version was available?
In the early Dorico versions, Engrave mode was only on Pro. Recent versions have added some additional Engrave functionality to Elements (but not frames and page templates).
You’ll have to apply the SVG (or other vector format) to a PDF of the page, using a drawing package, like Inkscape or Affinity (both free), or Adobe Illustrator or other.
Thanks for your response benwiggy. I’ve been exporting from Dorico as a PDF and then importing to Ashampoo, a PDF editor, where I can add a graphic file. Works fine, I was just trying to save a step.
