Hi there. I’m encountering something weird while creating drum set notation.
Can someone help me understand why there are two quarter note rests flying around in the second bar, and none in the first bar? What is the logic behind this? I do not want any rests flying around like that. Thanks!
The simplest is to go to Library->Notation Options->Percussion, and set it to use single voice. If that messes with the feet, in setup mode, click Edit Percussion Kit, and set the cymbal and toms to the same voice/stem direction.

If, for some other reason, you don’t want to use the single voice notation option, you could just select the bar and do edit>remove rests.
