Select a new instrument for a midi track

Hello,

I uploaded a midi track in Cubase AI 15. When I try to select another instrument for this specific track, Cubase always get back with the original (first) instrument… Can you tell me how to fix this? Thx

Hi and welcome to the forum,

are you sure it’s a MIDI track and not an instrument track?
Can you upload a screenshot of the track with the Inspector section and its routings, please?
