Select all channels in mixer

I was watching a Cubase tutorial demonstrating Q-Link. In it, as an example, he selects ALL the channels showing in the Mixer by holding down the Shift key and clicking on one of the channels. They are then ALL selected and he then applies Q-link to make all the faders move together when you move one.

I CANNOT seem to get all the mixer channels connected or linked as he described by using the Shift key in Artist 7. Why not ?

Is this a feature only available in CB 8 or 9 ? If available in CB 7, how do you do it, e.g. select ALL the channels in the Mixer before invoking the Q-Link feature ? A real P.I.T.A. to have to select all the channels individually.

Hi,

This is not Cubase Pro only. You should be able to do this in Cubase Artist too. Actually with Shift, you should be able to select just the 1st and the last. If you want to select one by one, hold down Ctrl/Cmd modifier.
