select audio by amplitude (db) range?

Hi all,

This question relates to Cubase 6.

Is it possible to select portions of an audio clip based on amplitude? For instance, select all areas of a clip <-30db. Or, say, between -30 & -50 db?

maybe try detect silence function, select add as regions.
