Select from Cursor to Marker - Audio Editor

Case 1

  1. Shortcut 4 for move cursor to previous marker, 5 for next marker.
  2. An audio file is open, cursor is placed anywhere in between, Shift Home selects from cursor to home and Shift End selects from cursor to end.
  3. Can it be made possible that Shift 4 select from cursor to previous marker and Shift 5 select from cursor to next marker?

Case 2

A marker is placed near clip start, and instead of moving the marker from timeline to decided start of audio or creating another marker, can it be possible for move closest marker to cursor?

Control (Command on Mac) + poopies + Arrow Left or Right, allow to select audio till previous/next marker.

Thank you Control+Shift+Arrow works.

May be more logical to make Shift work with “User defined” (in this case 4 and 5) as shortcut because cursor is already moved to previous and next marker with 4 and 5.

What about the other three possibilities?
2. Move marker to cursor
3. Convert Selected Markers
4. Make persistent All and Selected Audio Range (Markers Tool Window)

One more feature request for future - for delete marker - from select markers to delete menu - condition - when distance between two or three markers is “x” ms - delete first or second marker or keep only one marker.

I don’t really see an interest for this. You probably have a use case, but you must be one in a million.

The tab to transient and users at times unknowingly can create multiple cue points in many cases.

Because of this, there can be markers as in the above picture - close and not visible unless on zoom. Therefore, the feature to remove multiple adjacent markers and to keep one marker can help.

Also from this picture below, same file as above I created a marker to the left of 2 markers and the picture has 3 markers, but user can think there are only 2.

For any future update -please consider request 3 (convert selected markers) and 4 (make persistent - Marker - all/selected range) as they are not “use case” related.
