Select individual tie of a tied chord

Hello, all,
In this example, I would like the tie for Db to rise above the notes. Is there any way for me to select that tie individually and change its direction without changing the direction of the tie for Gb? It seems that Dorico only allows me to select both ties simultaneously.

Yes, select the tie and flip it with f in Engrave mode.

Thanks for your reply! Unfortunately, in Engrave mode I still can’t select the ties separately. If I click on one tie, both ties get selected. So when I press the F key, both ties get flipped.

Ah, you are using the Harmonics from the lower panel. This is what I get as default. How did you add the high note in the parenthesis? So adding the high note flips the ties even if it’s in another voice.

This is the only way I could get it to work. Skipping the harmonic and adding as a chord, then changing the notehead to a white diamond.

I added the sounding pitch as if it were part of a chord, then shrunk its size to cue size and added parentheses to it using properties.

Yes, as did I. Did you see my last post. Adding the harmonic as a chord also.

Jesper

Yes. I see what you did with the chord technique (skipping the harmonic function). I did reply through e-mail, but my reply doesn’t seem to have gotten through. When I get back into the score I will use your method, as it seems to work well. Thanks!

Good, there have been several requests for showing the sounding pitch so I’m sure it will arrive at some time.
