The notes from the left hand, which are moved to the right hand by key N (to the top) can then no longer be selected in the right hand with the arrow keys, just tap “individually”
If you use N the notes still belong to the lower stave (they just become cross staff notes). If you really want move them to the other stave use Alt-N.

But I wanted to continue working with cross stave notes!?!
I’m not sure what you mean here. When I cross-staff notes, they are still selectable.
I think @Eggi means that left/right arrows don’t really work to select cross-staff notes, either from the source staff or from the destination one. I think it had already been mentionned here, but I can’t find the thread.
