Is there a way to select notes by duration within a larger selection? I vaguely recall seeing something about that kind of thing. The current need is to select all quarter notes in several bars of music across several players so I can add an articulation to them. Is that possible?

This type of filter would indeed be very useful, especially for creating arrangements. If I remember correctly, it was possible to manage these kinds of filters in Sibelius.
I find Dorico’s filtering functions very helpful, but they still feel a bit limited. For example, I often need to filter notes based on articulation, which still isn’t possible—even now in version 6. I really hope this feature will be added in a future update!

I’m working on a score, 104 minutes of orchestral takedown, loaded with sixteenths intermingled with other durations. The sixteenths are invariably staccato throughout the piece. What a time saver it would be to be able to filter by duration in a selected range - so I could just do all the staccatos in a batch. Selecting by keyboard is a blessing, and the copy articulations feature also, but… the bigger the batch, the better! feature-request
