Select notes by pattern

Hi there,
I was wondering whether there is a way to filter notes by rhythmic position now, eg. select every x-th note?
I’ve found these posts about it but haven’t found out whether that feature has been added since.

Is there a way to select note by rhythmic position?

I have a long 16th-note figure where I would like to select the first note of each bar to throw an accent < on them. Is there a way to select the whole passage, then filter to select just the first note of every bar? (Sibelius had a way to do this, it was awkward but saved a lot of clicking).

Hi, just wondering if there is a method to select or filter the selection so that I can select for example only the first note of each bar in the left hand of a piano piece (to add for example an articulation or a lower octave only on that particular position) without having to select each individual note with the mouse. It would also be great to be able to select/filter selection according to the carrot grid (for example, all the second eight notes in each bar of a passage containing all eight…

I basically have the same reason for wanting to do that as they had: I often write some bars of a melody/accompaniment and then would like to apply eg. accents in a specific pattern to achieve some rhythm.
Perhaps, it’d also be possible to do one bar and then copy-paste only the accents?

No. You cannot filter by rhythmic position.
(Hopefully it will be included at some time)

But you can paste articulations to repeat patterns (Copy the pattern, make a new selection and right-click>paste special>paste articulations)

yes it is possible:
you can copy the music that has accents (or other articulations or slurs), then select the first note of where you want the accents to be pasted, and right click > Paste Special > Paste Articulations

Thanks to the both of you! Did not know that yet and I‘m definitely going to use that in the future!

Not sure if this is „correct“, but I‘ll mark this as the „solution“ as I think most people (including me) wanted to use the rhythmic copy pattern to achieve something similar to this.
