I would like to raise a question about selecting notes with a keyboard. I’m currently working on an arrangement that has double notes almost everywhere. Selecting them with a mouse is quite difficult when the zoom level is low — and even when I manage to select them, I often end up with not intended notes, no matter how carefully I try to click.
My question, however, is about what happens afterwards: when you have selected two notes as an interval and press the down arrow key, you would probably expect the lower note to become selected (and the opposite when pressing the up arrow). But in Dorico, it seems to work the other way around. Is this behavior intentional?
