Select tool/options in the Pattern Editor?

So I’ve been getting into the Pattern Editor more often lately. One fristration I’m having though is the ability select all notes of a lane easily. I’m kind of used to how to make edits in the MIDI Editor this way I suppose.

So I have a 64 step sequence and I want to reduce or increase the velocity for one of the lanes on one of the patterns. the only way i can see to do this is to awkwardly (and imprecisely) drag your mouse across them holding left click.

Is there a way to use a select tool or select all notes in a lane quickly, like you can in the MIDI Editor? This would be really useful, especially on long patterns.

Hold the Shift key and then drag the mouse up or down to increase/decrease the (relative) value of all steps.
The Pattern Editor works vastly different from the other midi editors. It is best not to try to project the workflow of the key editor onto it.
